Youth soccer, prepared for the heat.
We're inviting youth soccer teams to express interest in a short, monitored heat-training pilot designed to fit alongside normal training. The goal is to understand athletes' responses and explore whether team-based heat preparation is practical.
Team-based, not one-size-fits-all.
The current pilot is focused on competitive youth soccer teams, particularly U15 and older. Coaches and club representatives can register interest; suitability, location and scheduling will be discussed before participation is confirmed.
Fit existing training.
A short heat-training block alongside normal soccer sessions. Selected sessions may use added clothing or suitable passive heat, depending on the team and available facilities.
Measure the response.
Selected pre- and post-pilot sessions with non-invasive wearable thermal monitoring, followed by athlete-level feedback where data permit and a team summary.
Conservative heat exposure. Clear safeguards.
Screen & educate.
Athlete screening, hydration and heat-safety education, and appropriate parent or guardian consent are required before an athlete participates.
Monitor & adjust.
Wearable sensor data are considered alongside symptoms and observation. Sessions can be adjusted or stopped as needed. The program does not target extreme overheating.
This is an exploratory pilot. Tempered will assess feasibility and thermal responses; performance improvements are not guaranteed. No athlete names or medical information should be submitted through the interest form below.
Tempered provides the program design, selected in-person monitoring, CORE sensors, education and analysis. Athletes supply basic training clothing and a water bottle. Optional support toward travel or delivery costs is welcome but not required.
Put your team forward.
Coaches and club representatives: tell us your team, age group, location and preferred timeframe. I'll follow up to discuss suitability, logistics and next steps.
Submitting this form expresses interest; it does not confirm a pilot place or enroll any individual athlete.
